The album is titled ’51 reflecting a significant year: when both Jones and his treasured Gibson 175 came into being. ‘It was called a 175 because it cost $175: we’re planning to keep performing together until it represents our joint age…...’

‘Also rather than meticulously laying track after track, I’m restricting myself to a couple of takes per song to try and get a ‘live’ feel…………..or maybe I’m just getting lazy’ muses Jones.
